At this point, MyNBA in all of its glory is a bit of a tease because there are too many of the best new features that aren't working as intended. While I've said I am confident the issues would be solved, it would most likely be a good idea for 2K to post something on social media that acknowledges that the issues. As of now, almost every MyNBA enthusiast is at the dark. They are simply becoming more frustrated because the jobs and fun they were expecting to have is just out of the grasp. The following 2K patch could be coming as soon as this week, so let us hope it stamps out those mode-ruining issues with MyNBA.

Among my favorite things to do whenever new consoles come out is see how sports games run on them. It's not that I always expect them to be all that different on stronger hardware -- quite the contrary, in fact. Since sports games tend to depict enclosed, fixed surroundings and will need to get a perfectly smooth functioning every year, they're normally secure and reliable whatever system you perform them on.

Next-gen sports games get subtle, solid improvements should you have a look at FIFA, NBA 2K, and Madden, for example, they already run at indigenous 4K and 60 frames per second on the PS4 Professional along with the Xbox One X -- a fairly rare achievement for the majority of games on these machines. But that way when it has to do with the PS5 along with the Xbox collection X, 2K, and EA have had to figure out new ways to make the next-gen models stand out. I've been enjoying the 2021 variations of all three matches around the PS5, and they have all taken different approaches to take advantage of the new hardware.

First and foremost is how you actually get a hold of your own copy. EA is offering free PS5 and Xbox collection S / X updates to anybody who bought the PS4 or Xbox One versions of FIFA 21 or Madden 21, but it's not automatic. You need to go to the console's respective store to receive your next-gen edition. 2K, meanwhile, has chosen to create NBA 2K21 an entirely separate product for next-gen consoles, meaning you will have to buy it no matter whether you have it on other platforms.

The next-gen version of NBA 2K21 has an entirely new UI for the show and much quicker loading times. It seems a whole lot sleeker and flashier than the functional but sometimes clunky menus the game had made use of in the past couple of decades. 2K21 on the PS5 and Xbox Series S / X also has an ambitious new open-world multiplayer hub called The City which allows you explore multiple boroughs together with your created player.
