Giants' Darius Slayton not pleased with his speed rate in Madden 22. York Giants wide receiver John Ross is still one of the league's fastest players in EA Sports' Madden NFL 22. He's got a his speed rating of 96. This is eight of nine wideouts. Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill unsurprisingly claimed the top spot with his speed rating of 99. However, noticeably not present was Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton. Slayton was a speedy 4.39 40-yard dash at the 2019 NFL Combine, was not satisfied with the absence.
While Slayton's rating hasn't yet been disclosed, he's clearly been moved down several notches due to the arrival of rookies like Jaylen Waddle and Anthony Schwartz. In the meantime, Giants rookie wide receiver Kadarius Toney was also on the short end of the stick, earning an overall score of 72, which is the lowest among rookie receivers in the first round.
EA Sports will continue revealing ratings for players throughout the week and in advance of Madden 22 release date, therefore expect to see more angry players in the coming days.
