These Kill points have a number of applications. They are sometimes utilized to buy untradeable items(like Castle Wars), gamble on different levels for tradable items(like in Barbarian Assault), or to purchase experience points(Like Pest Control). You won't loose all of your kill points if you die, you will loose you to OSRS Gold five every time you die. I have to admit this isn't an original concept, I have seen threads indicating kill things before. A large symbol that resembles a sun floats over you. In Explorer Mode you ARE allowed to bring non-combat things on to the island, which means it's possible to alch along with everything. The purpose of Explorer mode is to enable a player to wander the island and watch fights without being at all. There's not anything else to do on the island however.
You can not change into Explorer Mode during PvP mode in order to save yourself, you want to return into Hilt. Escaping while at PvP manner, although possible, is extremely hard and actually harmful. Escaping will be covered later.
Leaving: In Explorer manner, you are given a special beacon item that teleports you back to Hilt no matter where you are on the staircase. This thing cannot be utilized outside of Explorer mode and can not be used anywhere else except Swordcross. However, in PvP mode, escaping alive is extremely difficult and trying may cost you your life if you're being pursued.
In PVP mode you want to access to one of the Lift Towers into the cloud zone. Once on the Cloud Zone, you have to climb stairs that wind across the rest of the tower to get into a teleport pad at the very top of the tower. However, the teleport takes roughly a bit longer than a normal teleport and an assault in the wrong time may interrupt it. In case a PKer follows you it won't be pretty. Pures can still nail you bad however.
This only applies if it becomes a harmful Minigame. The Looters Guild is a NPC-only guild of people who go on to Swordcross and take the things of individuals who die on the staircase. They sell these things in their shop on Hilt, for a cost more or less same as the industry price. Players can buy Guild Coupons using kill points so as to purchase their loot for 10% off. Each discounted purchase also uses up one coupon. Players can ask to Buy RS Gold combine, but will probably be reversed, however high their thieving level will be.
